Like the Pixi one it’s mostly almond and jojoba oil, plus (with the help of google) pomegranate, rosehip, vit E, orange peel extract, “sweet scented geranium”(? I didn’t think that the Lacura Healthy Glow Tonic would do this but to my pleasant surprise, it does exactly the same.

They are good friends because ethylhexylglycerin can boost the effectiveness of phenoxyethanol (and other preservatives) and as an added bonus it feels nice on the skin too. With skincare, it's best to use it for a long while to truly see the benefits of the products that you are using. I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had poured some on to a Cotton Wool Round and had swiped it across my Face, it turned from an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Micellar Water into a thin and watery Tonic that set within a matter of seconds.

I’ve struggled with a lot of day creams as I find they don’t keep my skin moisturised or again, affect my makeup base (oh the joys of combination skin!

It’s so obvious what its a copy of, the packaging is very similar to the original – pretty cheeky how similar it is! The sodium salt form of PCA is an important skin-identical ingredient and great natural moisturizer that helps the skin to hold onto water and stay nicely hydrated. If you needed more reasons to try it, the bottle design is so cute and the little pipette is super handy for the easiest application.
